A 19-year-old man has been charged with unlawful carnal knowledge of a 13-year-old girl.

Appearing in Magistrates’ Court this morning, the man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was not required to enter a plea as the charges are indictable.

The incident is said to have taken place in Warwick earlier this month.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the man on $5,000 bail with one surety.
