British Airways cancelled its flights between Bermuda and London today because of a “technical problem”.
Flight BA2232 was due to arrive at LF Wade International Airport at 6.30pm before departing again for Gatwick at 8.15pm but both journeys had to be axed.
No further information on the nature of the problem was available.
“British Airways sincerely apologies to customers due to travel today,” said Sallie Singleton, British Airways’ spokeswoman. “The flights to and from London have been cancelled due to a technical problem.
“We are doing everything we can to make sure our customers reach their destinations as quickly as possible.”
