A Hamilton Parish woman was today charged with financially abusing an elderly woman in 2010.

In Magistrates’ Court, Kim Miller, 53, denied the charge of abusing Imogene Lawrence, a senior, through financial exploitation between December 1 and December 10, 2010.

Ms Miller also denied stealing $1,000 from Ms Lawrence by using her Bank of Butterfield credit card.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Ms Miller on $2,000 bail.

She will be tried on October 28.
