A Pembroke man has been charged having in his possession a counterfeit $100 bill.

In Magistrates Court this morning, Keishun Trott, 23, pleaded not guilty to passing on a $100 Bermudian note which he knew to be counterfeit.

According to prosecutor Nicole Smith, the offence took place on July 20 in Pembroke.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Mr Trott on $2,000 bail with one surety for trial on November 7.
