Foundation names scholarship winners
The Bank of Bermuda Scholarship Foundation has announced the names of more than 20 awardees, who have earned a combined total of $796,000 for their further education.
Kacee Morton-Simons has been granted the Sir John W Cox Postgraduate Scholarship, while Rachel Daly was awarded the Sir Henry Tucker Scholarship and Mahogany Bean received the Joseph CH Johnson Scholarship. All three of the scholarships are valued at $30,000 per year for up to four years.
Meanwhile Stephanie Smellie was awarded the Eldon Trimingham MBA Scholarship, which covers $30,000 for up to two years.
Cynarra Phillips was awarded the Financial Services Scholarship, valued at $20,000 per year and Courtney Barbosa and Chantea Hollis received the Centennial Trust Scholarships worth $12,000 per year for up to four years.
Russell Conyers, Wendy Tuxworth and Alida Rattery were each awarded the Sir Henry Tucker Grant, worth $8,000 per year for up to four years.
Jessica Sinclair, Terrae Tuzo, Quaejah Cox, Lashuntae Dill-Assing, Benjamin Dylan Hollis and Amber Lopes were each awarded the Joseph CH Johnson Nominee Award, worth $1,500 after being nominated by their principals.
