Residents keen to help a good cause are being urged to step forward.

Volunteers are needed to help sell tickets for Bermuda Cancer and Health’s annual raffle.

Those willing to lend a hand can do so on selected dates from this Saturday until September 27, at Harrington Hundreds, Miles Market and Lindo’s in Warwick.

If you cannot assist at one of these locations, you can have a package of 20 tickets delivered to you to sell. For every 20 sold your name goes into a draw for a spa voucher. Raffle tickets can also be bought online.

Bermuda Cancer and Health is aiming to sell 6,000 tickets this year, with the funds going towards charitable outreach initiatives such as their Equal Access Fund, as well as education and awareness programmes.

Prizes include travel vouchers worth $10,000, $5,000, $2,000 and $1,000; a $250 voucher for Lindo’s; hotel stays; hair and beauty gifts; an Amazon Kindle, and much more.
