Plumber denies jewellery theft

A plumber has denied robbing a man of thousands of dollars in cash and jewellery.
Robert Green pleaded not guilty to robbery in Magistrates’ court this morning.
The 35-year-old is accused of robbing Devon Gardener on August 14 in Pembroke and taking $1,680 in cash as well as a gold pendant worth $1,700, a gold bracelet worth $2,200 and a gold ring.
Mr Green of Warwick was released on bail and will stand trial at Magistrate’s Court on November 21.
