Nine firefighters attended a blaze on a public bus yesterday.
Three fire trucks from Bermuda Fire and Rescue attended to the vehicle at about 3.15pm on Middle Road in Southampton, near Heron Bay MarketPlace and the Bermuda Institute.
“Prior to Fire Service arrival, all passengers on board the bus were evacuated,” said Service spokeswoman Sergeant Rusann Francis.
“No one was hurt as a result of this incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.”
Traffic was delayed in the area while firefighters attended the scene.
