Man injured in road smash

A man has been injured after his motorcycle collided with a car.
The accident happened at the junction of South Road and White Sands Road, Paget, at about 11.10pm on Tuesday.
The biker, a 31-year-old from Pembroke, was in a stable condition in hospital this morning.
“The motorcycle received extensive front-end damage. The car also received front-end damage,” a police spokesman said.
One fire truck and five firefighters attended the scene.
“The Fire Service responded to a road traffic collision where a motorcycle was reported to have a collided with a car,” said Service spokeswoman Sergeant Russann Francis.
Police are investigating the accident and witnesses are urged to contact PC Rawle Massiah on 247-1704.
