Trial dates set for cannabis and cocaine accused
A trial date has been set for a Warwick man accused of being in possession of more than $50,000 worth of cannabis.
K-Jah Butterfield, 32, is charged with being possession of the controlled drug, with an estimated value of $50,700, on August 9.
He is also accused of possessing scales used in connection with the misuse of a controlled drug.
Mr Butterfield appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning, where Magistrate Juan Wolffe set a trial date of December 3.
His bail of $15,000 was extended.
A trial date was also set in Magistrates’ Court this morning for a man accused of possessing $14,375 worth of cocaine.
Jeremy Zuill, 33, of Pembroke, has denied possession of a controlled drug, intent to supply and possessing scales used in connection with the misuse of a controlled drug.
Magistrate Juan Wolffe set a trial date of November 26 and extended Mr Zuill’s bail.
