Chef accused of sexual assault

A hotel chef has denied sexually assaulting a female work colleague.
The accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with counts sexually assaulting the woman and intruding on her privacy.
According to prosecutors, the offences took place on August 4.
Magistrate Juan Wolffe adjourned the matter for mention on September 25, and granted the accused, a foreign national, bail at $2,000. with one surety. He was also ordered to surrender all travel documents.
