Hamilton is set to enjoy its second annual Park(ing) Day, with more than a dozen parking spaces transforming into miniature parks tomorrow.
Organised by the City of Hamilton and the Department of Planning, the event will involve the transformation of 18 parking spaces on Court Street and Reid Street, which will be turned into temporary parks with the assistance of a host of partner groups.
Among the more than 16 organisations and businesses taking part this year are Chewstick, Jamaican Grill, the Bermuda College, the Bermuda Society of the Arts and Bermy Berry Frozen Yogurt.
Reid Street between Burnaby and Queen Streets will be closed to parking from 6pm today until 8am tomorrow while preparations for the event are being carried out.
