Man denies cannabis charges and resisting arrest

A 55-year-old man has denied having drugs and violently resisting arrest.
Gladstone Moore, of Pembroke, appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning and pleaded not guilty to possession of 15 grams of cannabis with intent to supply and possession of 0.1g of cannabis resin with intent to supply.
He also pleaded not guilty to obstructing a police officer and violently resisting arrest.
The charges relate to May 11 in the St John’s Road area of Pembroke.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner set a trial date of December 11 and released Mr Moore on $5,000 bail with one surety.
