Rain may move Tattoo indoors
A spectacular Tattoo to celebrate the end of Police Week and the Service’s 135th anniversary on Saturday night will be moved indoors if it rains.
The event, starring the 50-strong Royal Bahamas Police Force Band, is due to be held at the National Sports Centre from 7-9pm.
A formal decision on whether to move the Tattoo will be made at 3pm on Saturday.
If the weather is too wet to go ahead outdoors, the show will become a concert staged at the Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts at CedarBridge Academy, and there will be two performances.
The first will be a private show at 6pm for invited dignitaries and the student recipients of the Commissioner’s Vision Award. The latter had been invited along with two members of their family but if the show is moved they can bring more.
The second show at 8pm is for the general public and admission will be on a first come, first served basis.
