The road at John Smith’s Bay and Watch Hill Park on South Shore has been closed.

Works and Engineering staff have cordoned off the exposed stretch of road using concrete blocks early this afternoon.

It has been shut off just past the Harrington Hundreds grocery store and diversions have been put in place.

Any drivers who remain on the roads are urged to go home immediately as the winds are picking up.
