The Elbow Beach Bermuda Resort has reopened after being evacuated in advance of the impact of Hurricane Gonzalo.
According to a spokeswoman, the Paget resort sustained no major damage in the storm, and was able to resume normal business operations on Sunday.
“We are operating under normal business conditions and are looking forward to welcoming guests without any further interruptions,” Ed Burns, who represents the hotel’s owners, said.
“Our staff acted swiftly to prepare the resort for the hurricane and to ensure it is in great condition for our guests to return. It is a testament to their hard work that we are able to reopen so quickly.”
