A 75-year-old Pembroke man was arrested near Elbow Beach yesterday evening suspected of impaired driving.

Responding to a report, officers found the car being driven in an erratic manner near Elbow Beach Hotel.

They stopped the driver, who appeared to be intoxicated.

A court appearance is expected in due course.
