A car overturned in Paget in the early hours of Saturday morning after trying to avoid colliding with a motorbike.

The accident happened at 2.25am on South Road, Paget, near the junction with St Paul’s Lane.

A Police spokesman said: “It appears that a car being driven along South Road collided with a wall and overturned after avoiding a collision with a motorcycle being ridden in the opposite direction.”

He added that the 28-year-old St George’s man who was driving the car was not injured, but both the car and the wall were damaged.
