Fire trucks responded at about 1.20pm to a brush fire that broke out this afternoon in dense undergrowth near Khyber Pass, Warwick.

Three fire trucks arrived at Quarry Drive near Hunt’s Food and Supplies Ltd, with firefighters dousing several patches of flames near the disused quarry.

The fire appeared to be confined to open land beyond houses and businesses, and there were no reports of injuries from onlookers.
