More than two dozen postal workers were praised yesterday by Premier Michael Dunkley for having a flawless attendance record in 2014.

A total of 28 postal staff had perfect attendance throughout the entire year, six more than in 2013.

Presenting the workers with certificates, Mr Dunkley said: “I know going to work every day can be tough, and by your perfect attendence it means you came to work on a lot of days where you might not have felt like you wanted to work.

“You put aside some of the trials and tribulations you had and got to work. I have to commend that. We all have challenges in life, and I applaud you for leading by example.”
