Belco has informed motorists of a road closure in Devonshire this evening.

The section of Parsons Lane between Old Military Road and Orange Valley Road will be closed after rush hour tonight until approximately noon Thursday.

It is being closed for excavation work to be carried out to repair an underground cable fault.

A Belco spokeswoman said: “Every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly as possible, so that the roadway can be returned to normal. Belco thanks motorists for their patience, as essential repairs are completed.”
