A senior appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning to deny a charge of unlawful wounding.

David Lathan, 71, pleaded not guilty to a charge of wounding Corvin Ratteray in an incident on November 17 in Hamilton Parish.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released Mr Lathan on $4,000 bail until June on the condition that he avoids contact with the complainant.

Also appearing during this morning’s plea court session was 30-year-old Scott Dill, who denied charges of possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply on March 12 last year.

Mr Dill, from Pembroke, was released on $5,000 bail and ordered to return to the courts on July 3 for trial.
