The Victory of Europe Beacon
Along with parts of the UK realm across its Overseas Territories, Crown Dependencies and the UK itself, beacons were lit on Friday in celebration of the Victory of Europe. Bermuda lit its beacon on Spanish Point Park on Saturday due to the rain on Friday. Thanks to the Bermuda Regiment, the event was rescheduled and took place Saturday evening.
