A South Shore beach club near the old Sonesta property is now open for business: the Hamilton Princess Beach Club at Sinky Bay in Southampton.

The club, which is linked to the Hamilton Princess Hotel, is open to its guests with a limited number of day passes available for purchase by the public.

The site was purchased by the Green family in March of last year for a reported $10.5 million, and the development got approval from Planning in November.

The Hamilton Princess Beach Club will open daily from 9am until 6pm, giving hotel guests access to the beach and restaurant facilities.

Residents may purchase day passes for $50 each, or $30 for children aged 12 and below. Passes may be bought at the club on the day of use, with their availability depending on the number of resort guests on site.
