Motorcyclists were injured yesterday in a pair of collisions in Hamilton Parish, according to Police.

A police spokesman stated that the first collision was on North Shore Road near the junction with Radnor Road, apparently involving a motorcycle and a car, at around 4.30pm.

“Details remain limited at this time, however it appears that the motorcyclist, believed to be a 26-year-old Warwick woman, was treated at the scene by EMTs for injuries that did not require hospital care,” he said.

The second incident occurred less than an hour later near Old Farm Road and Wilkinson Avenue also apparently involving a motorcycle and a car.

“Likewise, details remain limited at this time, however, it appears that the motorcyclist, believed to be a 35-year-old Smith’s man, was treated at the scene by EMTs for leg injuries before being taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance. At last check he was recovering in stable condition on a general ward.”

Traffic flow in the area of each collision was delayed, but later returned to normal.
