Sandys man survives early-morning crash
At about 1.30am today, first responders were dispatched to a reported crash on Somerset Road, Sandys, apparently near the junction with Scotts Hill Road.
Details remain limited, however it appears that a car was being driven out of Somerset when the accident occurred.
The driver, believed to be a 30-year-old Sandys man was injured, taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged.
The car sustained extensive front-end damage and was later towed from the scene.

Meanwhile, the 81-year-old male motorcyclist who was injured in a collision with a truck last Monday, at the junction of Cavendish Road and Lane Hill in Pembroke, remained at the hospital’s intensive care unit in critical condition.
