The public’s help is being sought to trace a car stolen from Riddell’s Bay public dock in Warwick over the weekend — the seventh reported stolen since May 1.

The white Suzuki Wagon R, bearing licence plate number 05425, was removed between 8pm on Saturday and 9.30am on Sunday.

Anyone who has seen the vehicle should contact Police on the main telephone number 295-0011.

“This is the seventh car reported stolen since May 1, 2015, with the previous six being subsequently recovered,” a police statement said.

“The Bermuda Police Service is aware that in many of these instances, the vehicles were left insecure with the keys somewhere inside.

“Therefore, members of the public are reminded to secure their vehicles properly before leaving them unattended for any length of time,” the statement added.
