Police to give crime prevention advice
Police community officers will be at Harbour Nights this week offering crime prevention advice.
People are invited to visit the police vehicle display on Front Street on Wednesday with any questions they might have.
“This will provide an opportunity for Community Action Team officers to engage with visitors as well as members of the public regarding crime prevention advice,” a Police spokesman said.
“The officers will also be available to discuss any concerns attendees may have. In addition, visitors and locals alike will have the opportunity to view a display of some current police vehicles, including motorcycles used by the Roads Policing Unit.”
The Central Community Action Team clinic was organised in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce. Officers will be available between 6.30pm and 10pm.
