Motorcyclist treated in hospital

A female motorcyclist had to be rushed to hospital after colliding with a car on Scott’s Hill Road in Sandys on Wednesday.
The accident took pace at 6.45pm near the junction with Cricket Lane.
A Police spokesman said: “Details are sketchy but it appears that a 66 year old man driving a car and a 33 year old woman riding a motorcycle collided.
“As a result, the female cyclist was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where she is being treated for multiple injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.”
