A United States plastic surgeon formerly of Bermuda has had a colourful career turn as a guest expert on the new talk show Coco & Ice.

Christopher Johnson appeared on the premier of the show, which features rapper Ice-T and his wife, the model Coco Austin, to certify that her buttocks are real.

The rapper and actor explains to Dr Johnson that “people have always said Coco got a fake butt”, and calls on his guest to dispel the rumours.

Gamely going along with the request, Dr Johnson declares himself “honoured”, also telling the audience: “This is purely medical.”

After a cursory examination of Ms Austin’s posterior through her clothing, Dr Johnson states that, based on his knowledge of anatomy and musculature, there are neither implants nor fat injections present.

“I can certify that this is a real butt,” the surgeon concludes, to cheers and applause.
