Singer and model Solange, sister of superstar singer Beyoncé Knowles, gave the Island a favourable online plug with her holiday pictures this month.

Now the story has been picked up by the fashion monthly W Magazine, which has posted online Solange’s “enviable Instagram adventures” of the Island.

The short article says “Bermuda is the place to be this August”, according to the singer and fashion friends Shiona Turini and Melina Matsoukas.

The snaps include scenes of swimming, beaches and the Unfinished Chapel in St George’s.
