St George is to host an Art Walk featuring two talented Bermudians who have moved overseas to further their creative careers.

Musician Taylor Rankin and puppeteer Alexander Winfield are on the line-up of entertainment for Sunday’s events planned in the East End.

The Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation will be running children’s activities including mask and instrument-making, sensory play and story-related activities, while the Garden Club of Bermuda will be providing some horticultural sculpture work.

The Plein Air Bermuda group will be having a competition with a cash prize for painting on the day and there will be other street art such as spray-painting and cartooning.

Organisers are still accepting artists and are also looking for volunteers to help with various tasks throughout the day.

The Art Walk runs from 2pm to 6pm in St George’s with performances by Alexander Winfield, then continues at Tobacco Bay from 6.30pm, when Taylor Rankin will perform along with DIA and Joy Barnum, among others. The event is free and there will be a free bus running between the two venues until 9pm.
