Two accidents took place in quick succession on Harbour Road, Paget, yesterday.

In the first crash, a 31-year-old Sandys man drove a car into walls on both sides of the road at about 10am. He was not injured.

Initially, police reported that accident happened near the junction with Chapel Road, but today officers clarified that it was in fact near Lower Ferry.

At about 10.30am, a second accident took place, this time involving a single motorcycle, near to the junction with Chapel Road.

The rider, believed to be a 39-year-old woman, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of a leg injury and at last check was in stable condition on a general ward.
