An air conditioning firm has donated $1,000 to an Island charity to help make Christmas a little better for underprivileged children.

Air Care gave the money to Toys for Tots, which is organised by Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty with the Coalition for the Protection of Children, to collect presents to be distributed to families in Bermuda.

Brendan Stones, Air Care’s general manager, said in a statement: “Christmas is a difficult time for families who are already struggling financially. There are so many expectations which can be impossible to fulfil.

“We are delighted to play a small role in helping underprivileged children in Bermuda and hopefully brightening up Christmas for them.”
