Men injured in industrial accident

Two men were injured this morning in what has been described as an industrial accident in St David’s.
According to Sergeant Russann Francis of the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service, firefighters responded to a report of an accident on Waller’s Point Road at around 7.45am.
“It was reported that two males were injured by the falling of a 6ft by 8ft concrete slab,” she said. “The Fire Service responded to the incident with one vehicle and four emergency medical technicians who quickly assessed the patients who were found to have lower extremity injuries.”
The men were subsequently taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
