Emergency vehicles responded to a two-vehicle collision in Pembroke this morning that left one person injured.

According to a police spokesman, the accident took place on Serpentine Road, near the junction with Rosemont Avenue at about 8.15am.

“Details are limited at this time,” he said. “However, it appears that two cars were involved, with a passenger in one of the cars being injured.

“Initial information suggests that the injuries sustained are not serious.”

Inquiries are underway and witnesses are urged to contact Hamilton Police Station on 247-1704.
