Perot Post Office in Hamilton has now opened for business after a faulty lock prevented staff from getting into the premises this morning.
Postmaster-General Wayne Smith told The Royal Gazette: “The Perot Post Office had a faulty lock this morning and the staff had to wait for the locksmith to repair it to gain access to the building.
“Perot opened for business around 11.40am. Customers still had access to mail service in Hamilton during Perot’s temporary closure as the GPO on Church Street was open for business during this period.
“The Bermuda Post Office apologises for any inconvenience caused to customers and takes this opportunity to wish everyone a happy holiday season.”
