Workshop will help empower adults
The Mirrors Programme will host a free workshop to help motivate and empower adults to be more effective with young people.
The Parent Workshop, at CedarBridge Academy on January 22, 23 and 24, is an interactive programme giving participants chance to explore thought-provoking questions and concepts designed to help them develop a clearer outlook of what they can accomplish and how to make more powerful choices.
Mirrors coordinator Kim Jackson said in a statement: “This workshop is one of the products offered in addition to the youth programme; parents and adults can definitely benefit from this programme.
“The programme offers new ideas on working effectively with young people, a renewed appreciation for self and what it means to be a parent and an overall sense of empowerment and confidence in producing improved results.
“We are pleased that the registration has been going well; however we do have 15 participant registrations space left. I encourage all interested parents and adults who work with youth to sign-up today.”
