A 44-year-old man died after an incident in Sandys yesterday, according to police.

Emergency services responded to a call about a man taken ill in the area of Pleasantville Lane, at 9.35pm.

He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Bermuda Police Service said: “The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are not believed to be suspicious and no further information will be given until the next of kin have been notified.”
