Boy in hospital after falling in water

A three-year-old boy is being treated in hospital after falling into the water at about 4.45pm on Friday.
Police and first responders attended the incident at the North Arm, Dockyard.
Police issued a statement saying: “On arrival of emergency personnel, it was discovered that a three-year-old boy, who was in the company of other family members, got too close to the edge of the dock and fell into the water.
“The boy was quickly retrieved from the water by a family member and was conveyed to KEMH for treatment.
“At last check the boy remained at KEMH where he is being kept for observations, however he is expected to make a full recovery.”
