Hearts, hats and high tea!
Friends of Hospice are organising a fun event in honour of Agape House’s 25th anniversary.
“Hearts, Hats and High Tea” will take place on Saturday, February 27 at Windows on the Sound at the Fairmont Southampton.
The main thrust is to celebrate 25th years “of caring and compassionate hospice and palliative care”, said Cathy Belvedere, Executive Director of Friends of Hospice.
Prizes will be awarded for the best hats worn by those who attend — most marvellous, most natural and most unique.
Tickets are available for purchase at $75 per person. Anyone interested in purchasing tickets can call the Friends of Hospice office at 232 0859 or email Friendsofhospice@bhb.bm
The event starts at 2.00pm.
Agape House is the only hospice care facility on island, owned and operated by the Bermuda Hospitals Board. The hospice is supported financially and therapeutically by Friends of Hospice. It cares for patients with a broad range of life-limiting illnesses, taking a holistic approach to patient care and following international best practices.
