Motorist arrested after high-speed chase
A man was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase through Pembroke yesterday.
Officers initially attempted to stop the 50-year-old motorist, from Devonshire, at the junction of Elliott Street and Princess Street, at about 12.35pm.
He led them through the North Hamilton area before eventually being caused to stop on St Augustine Hill, near the junction with Parsons Road.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said the man was arrested on several traffic offences and is due to appear before the courts.
