A concert will bring together local and international musicians to raise money for charity next month.

International reggae singers Tarrus Riley, Cocoa Tea and Etna will take the state at National Sports Centre with local artists including Jesse Seymour, King Juris and Juggling Jason as part of an event to raise funds for Relay for Life, which supports cancer victims and survivors.

Rosie Cross, who runs concert organiser Spectrum Global, said: “It has been going for two years and I have taken part each time with the International Women’s Club. The event raised the red flag for me that we need to help cancer victims and survivors in Bermuda, but I also want to support and promote Bermudian artists as well as Bermuda itself.”

Craig Tyrrell, operations manager at the National Sports Centre, said the concert will be the first to be held at the NSC’s Event Tent on the North field.

“We are really looking forward to the concert and I would urge people to buy tickets to hear great music but to also support a fantastic cause,” Mr Tyrrell said.
