A 28-year-old St George’s man was rushed to hospital in the early hours of this morning after he was found unconscious on Kindley Field Road.

He is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in a serious condition.

Police were called to the scene of the suspected single-vehicle accident at 4.45am.

Firefighters also attended the scene and provided first aid to the man.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen the accident to contact police on 295-0011.
