Traffic on Cemetery Road in Pembroke could be delayed by ongoing work in the area starting tomorrow.

A Belco spokeswoman stated that there may be intermittent traffic restrictions from tomorrow to Tuesday, April 5, to ensure safety as work is carried out on its fire pump site.

“Neighbouring businesses, including Animal & Garden House, Gorhams and TreeCon are open for business as usual and can be accessed from the western entrance of Cemetery Road,” the spokeswoman said. “Businesses at the east end of Cemetery Road remain accessible from St John’s Road.

“Belco apologises for the inconvenience this may cause and thanks neighbours and the public for their co-operation as this essential work is carried out. We will continue to provide updates via our Facebook and Twitter feeds as the work progresses.”
