Police make five home arrests
Police made five home arrests on Wednesday in two separate incidents.
Officers executed a warrant at a residence on Radnor Road, Hamilton Parish around 2.30pm.
Inside the home, they discovered an undisclosed quantity of a plant-like material as well as drug paraphernalia, all of which was seized.
Three people were arrested in the incident — a 35-year-old woman for possession of a controlled drug, as well as a 35-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man for outstanding warrants.
On the same day, at around 12.30pm, officers found a man outside a Happy Valley home who was wanted in connection with an outstanding warrant.
They pursued the man after he ran inside the house, where he was apprehended along with an undisclosed quantity of drugs.
The suspect, along with another man, were arrested for possession of a controlled drug.
Investigations into both of these incidents are under way.
