A Ladies Tea Party is set to be held this weekend to help support youth in need.

Organised by lawyer Simone Smith Bean, the wife of Opposition Leader Marc Bean, the party will mark the formal launch of the We Care Project in memory of the late Marita Thompson.

The project is aimed at bringing attention to the island’s at-risk children, collecting donations to aid those in need.

The event, set to take place at the Heritage Worship Centre at 3pm on Saturday, will feature a presentation by guest speaker Patrice Frith Hayward. Tickets can be purchased for $30, or $50 for those who wish to be patrons.
