Youngsters will learn the importance of healthy eating and physical activity tomorrow, as part of the fourth annual “Healthy Al, Healthy Me” celebration.
The Government initiative will involve about 118 students from five schools around the island: Lyceum Preschool, Southampton Preschool, St David’s Preschool, Heavenly Blessings and Kiddie Academy.
The event will include fun activities, games and healthy snacks, showing children how they can benefit from choosing healthy eating habits.
“Al’s Pals” is a programme supported by the Department for National Drug Control.
Fronted by Al the puppet, it teaches children lessons such as how to get along with others, peaceful problem solving and how to stay healthy.
