Government has announced that the passports for British Overseas Territories Citizens (BOTC) will soon be printed in the UK.
Minister of Home Affairs Patricia Gordon-Pamplin advised the new process would come into effect on June 29.
However, the Bermuda Passport Office at the Department of Immigration will continue to receive applications for BOTC passports in certain cases.
Those whose passports have a validity of less than six months and first-time applicants can submit an application up to June 23. They will be printed in Bermuda in 8 working days.
A more detailed Ministerial Statement will be issued in the House of Assembly tomorrow.
