Repairs are under way to fix a section of badly broken concrete sidewalk on South Road, Paget.

The Ministry of Public Works has advised that a lane closure with temporary traffic light control will be required next Monday and Tuesday to allow for the concrete to settle enough to reopen to pedestrian traffic.

Traffic disruption is expected, particularly during peak commuting times, at the spot between the bend at Southcote Road and Tribe Road #4b, which is the public access route to Elbow Beach.
